My name is Tanya Johnson and I just wanted to let you know that you have all been in my thoughts and prayers. I am Courtney's bus driver. I will always remember when I would pick up Courtney in the morning, Alan would always have a smile on his face and his little dog in his lap. He would always wave to me and was the friendliest person for me to start my morning.

Alan and I had many memorable moments. This is one of them from the last time Alan was at my house, just a few months ago. We were sitting on the deck in the backyard, and Alan said like always, " Jim you are still selling snacks after all of these years", and before he left he would say " I want you to fix me up a box of chips, candy, and cakes so I can take them home for my kids when they come over. and I would tell Alan like always, that I was sure that they were not just for his...

My deepest sympathies go out to the family. I myself will miss Alan dearly - "my Nascar buddy". Race day will be hard without him. Alan was such a giving and loving person - I am lucky to have been so close to him. I will miss him so very much!
