Not sure what to say?

He was a warm uncle. We often traveled from Seattle down to Chico to visit them for Thanksgiving.

I always enjoyed visiting my Uncle Al, Aunt Vel and my cousins in Chico. I was very sorry to that Uncle Al had passed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. As your husband and father, and as our friend, Al certainly left a footprint on this community larger than life. Now we will all try to ease the void by sharing with others that sense of responsibility, respect and caring that he shared with so many during his lifetime.

I often think of Mr. Crowson when I speak with his two sons, Bruce (My Pharmisist) & Steve (My Dentist). We talk of when I attended BJHS & his frendship with my parents Bob & Sylvia Edmiston. I am so fortunate & forever grateful that he was a guiding force for me @ BJHS as a mentor & coach during my formative years. He will be missed by all of us "Youngsters" that he helped along his path.

Dear Crowson family:

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Alan. He was loved by so many and how he loved his dear family.

My thoughts and most sincere prayers are with you at this time.

Bruce, Barb, and Steve,

I am so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I remember him as our principal at Bidwell -- while he maintained authority, he was not intimidating -- he was like another "Dad."

May God bless you all and keep you close

This is for Mrs. Crowson And your family-

I am so sad to here of Mr. Crowson passing. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I feel very priviledged to have had the pleasure of meeting all of you, Al especially. I will never forget that smile of his. It was obvious to me how much he truely loved his entire family, even though I had only known him for a short time. I could tell by the look on his face when Velma and I would talk about them. PROUD is the word I mean. I will never...
