Not sure what to say?

I knew Alan for 75 years. We started kindergarten at Mt. Penn Elementary and graduated in 1961. He was always a nice guy. I will miss him. The obituary was so lovely. May he rest in eternal peace.

I met Alan in 2006 through my brother, Paul (Bud). All of us were ushers at the Sovereign Center. After an event we all would go to Friendly's and have a late dinner. The tribute to him written by his daughter was so beautiful. Even if you never met the man, you would have a sense of who he was. RIP dear friend.

To my newly found cousins - I never met your father as I wasn´t on any of the calls that he took part in. But this beautiful tribute to your father shows what a wonderful, special man he was. I smiled as I read it and thought to myself - I wish I knew him. What a legacy he leaves behind. My thoughts and prayers and deepest condolences to all of you. May his memory be a blessing to you and may it always bring smiles, laughter, and happiness to your hearts.

"A Vietnam Veteran has passed away today." The final battle is now over and peace has been restored. You are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow Vietnam Veteran. The final battle is now over and peace has been restored. The final bugle has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Farewell fellow veteran. A Navy Vietnam Veteran.

I had the pleasure of serving Alan at Friendly's for many, many years. He was the guy to go to if you had any questions about music or sports. Alan was a happy and kind person and it seemed like he knew everybody. He would give me the scoop on what was going on the weekend. And of course I can't forget his famous pens he would hand out to all the waitresses. God bless you Alan.

I knew AJ as a neighbor, he was well like, my brother and AJ did things together

Such a beautiful and heartfelt tribute to your dad. I didn´t know him but your loving words brought tears to my eyes. My condolences to you and his loved ones.

What a lovely tribute to your father. My condolences to his family.
