Not sure what to say?

Terry, I am sorry to hear of your loss. I had some Great Times with Alan growing up on the South Side of Chicago!Fee Free to email at [email protected] Sincerely, Jerrod Kogan

Fifty years is a lifetime of knowing someone. From being extras when we met on the set of The Goodbye Girl - coming home broker from a trip to Puerto Rico - playing piano at his and Terri's wedding - meeting in LA - craps once again, this time in Vegas. Experiences with one of the nicest people I ever knew. Daniels family, Alan's memory will be a blessing. That glint in his eye is now a twinkle in the stars. I will miss him all the remaining days on my life. Love to you all. Phil

After a 9 month courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, Alan left us. He kept it private, the kind of guy he was, don´t be in the spotlight, don´t bother others. He was a great colleague and friend to many and worked tirelessly never seeking attention. His wife Terri, son Jesse and daughter Cody provided wonderful care to the end; keep them in your thoughts and prayers. It has been a tough 2 1/2 years for everyone, and it seems we get sad news too often. This one though is a gut punch...

Jesse -I am so sorry and shocked to hear about your Dad. He was one of the most pleasant people I worked with during my 10+ years at Sony Pictures. I remember when you and I worked together at BMP and I found out he was your Dad. Such a good person , smart and alway willing to stop and help anyone who needed his time. Really makes me sad. May Hashem comfort you and your family and may all the great memories of a wonderful person live forever in your hearts. Mark Lebowitz

Alan was a member of the Norman Lear Embassy Television family and we all send his family our deepest condolences.
