Saddened to learn of Al´s passing. A very good teacher and a wonderful man. Love to all.

We are sorry we couldn´t express our sympathies personally at Al´s family. We were Ignatian Volunteers with Alan. He was a man of deep faith and a commitment to seeing the face of God in the poor and the powerless. His life was a gospel that we all can learn from. Safe home, Alan.

I have fond memories of your father teaching him how to use the computer - he was so kind. May the memories of his life lift you up in the sad moments.

So many years of friendship. Al, Marilyn, Bob and I shared good times together with friends and the memories make me smile. Al had a way of making you feel you were the only one in the room. Marilyn and family, what a great fellow Al was to everyone he knew and he helped many more he didn't know thru his community service. His faith and family came first. Notre Dame came next. H e was greatly admired by his peers in the Newspaper Industry.
