Alan F. Dardis

Quite a guy Al Dardis was. A conversation with Al was often the highlight of your day. Witty, warm, funny and exceedingly bright. They were all part of every interaction. His knowledge on most any subject and his insights on people, films, sports were vast. Mostly though it was his sense of humor, that´s what resonates all these years later. Al was a great friend of mine at Beaverton High. We had a lot of fun in those days. Never girlfriend/boyfriend, but just friends. I will never forget Alan.

It was my great honor to be a small part of Al's last days. He and his family have my undying love and respect
