Dr. Alan Joel Dessen

Believe it or not, there is not a mouth without mentioning him when talking to the other Echo Tech. You are still alive with me Profe.

"Doc" saved my life in 1997 from a severe Myocardial infarction. His care for me all these years has been the best. I always looked forward to our visits every six months.
He always used the little grade school students desk to write his notes. On occasion we'd talk about military and his time in the Air Force.
I was disappointed and happy that he had retired. I am heartbroken it was for medical reasons and he has passed to early. My favorite picture is in his Phoenix Suns...

Alan and I played basketball together for many years, first at Shea Middle School and then at the JCC on Maryland. Alan was a wonderful guy with a heart of gold and a great competitive spirit. I recall many times walking past Alan's home in Heritage Heights and recalling what a special person he has always been.
