Uncle Alan made time for everyone. Always willing to walk down 50 plus stairs to go fishing with you. One of my fondest memories was spending a week in Grand Marais in the U.P. With Uncle, my dad and Rick. We fished multiple spots (not much luck), ate at local restaurants and bars and stayed up all night long playing euchre and nickle dime poker.
