Alan Donnelly

My condolences to Alan's family and friends . I went to school 3 on Watervliet Avenue for first grade where I met Alan. His father worked for First Prize Meats on The killing floor as a butcher . Alan worked nights in the Shipping Department . I myself work there for 26 years in every Department except the killing floor. Off and on over many years I ran into Alan in various places around Albany. He Always had a big smile when we met. Memories are what keeps the deceased alive in our minds....

To the children of my brother Alan. Your were fortunate to be raised by such a great man. He was like a second father to me in my early years and I'll never forget him. For anyone learning of this today, we will have a funeral mass at Blessed Sacrament Church on Wednesday September 24 at 10:30.
