ALAN EBERSOLE

To Richard and the rest of Alan's family,

I just learned of Alan's passing yesterday (5/20). I was deeply saddened.

My name is Jeff Grove. My family and I lived across the street (57 Woodland Ave) from Ellie and Alan from '53 to '62.

They were both wonderful people. Alan was like a second father to me. He'd let me cut his lawn (because my Dad was to fastidious about his to let me cut his lawn!) He taught me about firearms and took me to a shooting range in Cranford...

I was one of his eagle scouts in old Troop 172 in Westfield, NJ, back in the early fifties. He was one of the most influential men in my life, and I will never forget him. GOD rest his soul!
