It is hard to believe that a month has gone by without your smile, your laugh or one of your great hugs. Some days feel harder than others, but always Al we will keep our promise to you that we will watch over your family. Your wife is like a sister to me, just like you were like a brother to me. I have known Alan since High School, he was ALWAYS one of the NICE GUYS! He always had a big smile on his face, and a kind word. During the past seven years of his illness, when I would visit him, I would tell him how much I admired him for being so strong and for having such a positive outlook..he said that was the only way to be. I have never known ANYONE that had such a positive outlook on life under the circumstances!

I've known Alan as long as I've known my husband Rod. They were best friends and later brothers-in-law. Uncle to my children, spouse of my sister, neighbor and friend. I will miss you terribly, but the memories of all the good times our families shared will fill the hole your passing left in our lives! Peace Al

I worked with Al for a few years at Delphi, Lee Road plant, and always saw him smiling. Must have been all the love from his family that kept that smile going. He was a great guy, and we will miss him.
