Alan was born on May 4, 1946 and passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016. Alan was a resident of Fergus Falls, Minnesota at the time of his passing. He attended elementary school in Pelican Rapids and graduated from Pelican Rapids High School in 1964. Alan was enlisted in the United States Navy from 1965 to 1969 serving in Vietnam. He was married to Mary. A private family service will be held at a later date.

I remember Alan visiting the Ponderosa quite often with family and friends for years. My dad, Clayton whom currently is quite ill and frail, remembers some of the fond memories when I mentioned his passing last weekend. I will always remember Alan's fun loving, magnetic personality and his continuous smile. He was nicknamed: "Ace", not sure of the entire meaning behind that but have some ideas.... :)
He will be missed.....
