Alan Lewis Firestone

Hearing about Alan's death from my Mom left me shocked and saddened.All of our time here on earth is short but it seems like his was especially so. My sympathies to his wife and young children, I can only imagine the pain at such a loss. I too have wonderful memories of growing up with Bill and Carol and Alan. Dr. and Mrs Firestone were so good to all of us neighborhood kids. This reminds me to love and hug my own family each and every chance I get. Respectfully, Steve Langevin

Alan's many special friends in and around Montclair, New Jersey mourn his passing and offer condolences to Pamela, his children, his mother, and his siblings. He was a wonderful man, a good friend, and always had a welcoming smile or thoughtful comment whenever we saw each other.

He will be remembered by all of us.

Please accept my condolences. Though I haven't seen him in a few years, Alan offered help and friendship to me, often when I needed it most.

I am so saddened by the news I received last evening from my mother in Holyoke. Alan was my very first friend in the world, having grown up across the street from each other on Keefe Avenue. I will cherish thoughts of that childhood friendship. Please know that Alan's family, wife, children, mother, brother and sister wil be in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless all of you.
