It was with great sadness that I read of the passing of Al. For over 30 years years I was a supplier to The Torrington Company and called there frequently.I would always look forward to stopping to chat with Al in the Engineering department. He was one of the nicest persons I have ever met and although it has been many years since I have seen him, learning of his passing has brought great sadness, but fond memories. Al was a great man. I worked for Al at the Torrington Company. Al was much more than a boss to me, he was a good friend. We had many laughs together and he will dearly be missed by ALL his loved ones.
