My thanks to everyone who has remembered Alan fondly here. Alan's children and I deeply appreciate your sympathy and kindness. I'm posting a recent photo. Keep him in your thoughts and your heart.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

Alan, I will miss your laughter and jokes and your help with the computers. We will all miss you.

Alan was a dear friend. He was one of the best role models I have ever had. When I started at Princeton in 87 he always guided me. He always made time to help you out. And yet he always made me smile. A meeting with Alan was a fun time. Learning something new with Alan was always a blast. And just being around him was a learning experience. Words cannot express the loss. My heart goes out to Laurie and Alan's family. He will be missed by many. And he will be surely missed by me.

Alan was so happy go lucky all the time, he was always willing to help. I will miss his laughter & corny sayings. I think about him everyday & can't get him out of my mind. I definitely was not ready for this to happen. May he rest in peace.

For Alan's love of computers to the compassion of people, he will never be forgotten. You were my best friend and will always be in my heart. I will remember your smile and your laughter. It gave me great joy to know you.
