I write this to express my sincere condolences. I am sorry to have found out this terrible news by looking this up on the internet. Al was a dear friend of mine and I always love being around him, mentoring me among many other things that we did while I worked at Lumanair. I learned alot from Al when he gave me my first shot as an A & P Mechanic and taught me alot of things. I will miss my friend dearly. Sgt Heinze is at least at peace now and not in any pain. I very much enjoyed Al's friendship over the past several decades working with him at Lumanair, his help assisting with my homebuilt airplane project and saddened by his passing. We both loved aviation, machinery and metal. It was a great pleasure to have know him and he will be missed.
