Soon, it will be 6 years since I lost my brother. The phrase "make the best of things" comes to mind..because that's the way I feel about his passing. I had a gift..he was my brother his whole life, and, now, he's gone. I can't share a joke. I can't laugh or listen to his music. It is what it is..I'm just gonna move forward..and "make the best of things". Love Ya, Bro!

Alan's memorial says it all, "everyone was his friend".
My cousin Alan had a beautiful heart and it shined through his features to lift the spirits of everyone he encountered. Truly a beautiful human being, we need more like him, I loved him,I miss him.
