Not sure what to say?

I have not seen Alan for so long. When I moved form Huntsville to the Chicagoland area we did what we could to stay in touch, but the years kept coming and we eventually grew apart. Alan was/is one of my best childhood friendship memories. I know he will be dearly missed, I think about and say silent prayers for his family every day. Alan takes me back to my innocence, I hope to see you again one day old friend.

It has been quite some time since I've seen Alan but I will always remember the great times we had together in Auburn. He was a good friend from the first time we met. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

It is truly devastating to know Alan has left this world. It's been ages since I saw him last, though it feels like yesterday. I feel blessed to have known Alan and honored that we created music together. I will always cherish the great times we had and the amazing memories we made along the way. Alan was an extraordinary person whose kindness was only eclipsed by his talent and artistic vision. Alan, may your soul find peace. May your loved ones find the warmth and comfort I know you would...

I have many, many great memories of Alan. We have had a lot of fun over the years. He was an amazing person who brought a lot of joy to peoples lives. I just want to say that I am very sorry for his family and his wife, may God be with you at this difficult time.

I will miss Alan. We were very close throughout high school and college. He was one of the few people that shared the same obscure musical tastes that I did. He was a great friend.

It has been about 5 or 6 six years since I last saw Alan, but the memories we made together in Auburn will last forever. Alan was a good friend and bandmate, whether we were hanging out upstairs in my apartment or even when he was waking me up in the middle of the night with his drumming. I am praying for his family and friends, and hope for their peace.

This is so sad; Alan was so good.

Derek, so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Alan will be truly missed.

I miss Alan every day and it was my honor and my privilege to have known him. Alan loved and was loved. A greater memorial I can't think of. We will meet again.
