You were a one-of-a-kind man. We love you and your family and pray a blessing down upon your wife, children and grandchildren on the anniversary of your passing!

I was so sad to learn Alan had passed away. Alan and Janet were one of my favorite customers at a local restaurant in Vail AZ. ALan was always chuckling about something or had a joke to tell...when I'd tell him it was good seeing him he'd always reply. .."it's always good to be seen"...I wish I could of got to see that tall fellow one more time before I had to abruptly leave my job.. he put up a good fight for 15 yrs and may he rest in peace now.. I am so thankful to have met you in the chemo room. The fact that you made us laugh in a place that seemed impossible to find laughter was such a gift. You were one of the people I looked forward to seeing each time I had to go get chemo. You were a real gift to me and my mom.Thank you for helping us learn that there is so much good to be found in hard situations. I hope you knew how much that meant to us.

Sorry to say goodbye to a great friend from back in the day. Keep on truckin wherever you are.
