Not sure what to say?

I miss you gramps.

Can´t believe it´s been 3 years already. There sure has been a huge void in our family. Miss you tons, Al.

I've been thinking of Al and the family this week. Wondering what fun they would be having together if he were still here. He would have enjoyed the Iowa State Fair that Kathi and the kids and grandkids went to this year...mostly because he got to be with those he loved so much. Mickie and I are doing our best to look after dad. He's still going strong at 96, but he'd be enjoying life more if his best bud, Al, was enjoying it with him.

Even though we´re first cousins, and I hadn´t seen you in at least 40 years, I still have the many memories of us Kiser kids coming to see y´all. Lots of great times.

Dad, You not being here has left an unbelievable void in my heart. I miss you so much! There has been so many occasions that I just wanted to talk to you and get your thoughts on things. A son needs his father no matter what age he is. It's been three years since you've been gone. At times I feel I will be ok then there are times where it's just to much to bare. I know if giving the chance to come back you would stay where you're at and that's what helps me with my grief when it just seems...

You will be forever missed, Al.

Jarrett Family,

I am so sorry for your loss! Mr. Jarrett was such an awesome person!
He was always so wonderful to us girls when Jodi would have us over!
I also remember him cheering us on in sports! He ALWAYS had a BIG smile!

Take Care,
Karrie (Dame) Thompson

My deepest sympathy to Kathi and the family. Al was a great friend. And one tough cribbage player. He will be missed.

Rest In Peace Al , We have only met a few times over the years but your presence always brought great spirits. Thank you for your kindness, smiles, and making someone feel welcome in your presence!! I could tell you were a good man with a great heart just like your dad . You will be greatly missed by many. Until we met again on the other side, R.I.P.
