Not sure what to say?

Alan was a serious guy who tried not to take himself too seriously. His sense of humor helped us maintain our own equilibrium. He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by everyone with whom he worked. I'm grateful for the 10 years that we worked together and all the miles we covered on our road bikes. I had the pleasure of working with Alan at Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation (aka PIRE) many years ago. He was great to work with, easy going and always engaged. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Mindy, I was so sorry to hear this news from your mom tonight. Please know we love you and will be thinking of you and your boys. With much love, Joseph and Emily Mecham.

I didn't have the privilege to know Alan but the beautiful memorial service was a reflection of how much he was loved by family and friends. My heart goes out to your family. May God give you solace during this difficult period. Rest in peace Alan.

For the seven years I worked with Alan in the same office we shared countless time together (and a lot of laughing)! I will always remember the "early Exim years" with Alan very fondly. He was endlessly curious, thoughtful, intelligent and funny. He will be very missed.
