Not sure what to say?

Alan was a treasured friend who I met to work, selling Sprinter vans to college golf teams. I met him for the first time with him and Pug at the Hutchinson Kansas NCAA championships which Smiley was also participating with as he was at Louisiana. Called him several times over the past few years and enjoyed our visits, my condolences go out to the family. Kene Merideth

It is truly a gift to have had a Member such as Alan Kaufman at Vestavia Country Club for 58 years. Mr. Kaufman served on many committees throughout his tenure at VCC, and he was the Club President in 1993. He was loved by many, and everyone here (both Staff and Member) will remember him fondly.

I am so sorry for your loss. Memories of his friendship and his unwavering persistence to be the best on the course and off the course with his family I will always remember. God bless you all.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

He was a great man and a great person who will be missed by all but we know he is a better place he lived life to its fullest and I enjoyed his friendship Frank Buck

Rest in peace, Brother.

I want to extend my deepest condolences to the friends and family of Alan Kaufman. Coach Kaufman meant a lot to me and I considered him a great friend. I learned a lot from him.
