Not sure what to say?

Deepest sympathies to the Kaye family I was a fraternity member of Al's at Utica and have fond memories of those days He will be missed--Rick Burmeister

Our sympathy to Alan's family and many friends. We had the pleasure of working with Alan in the Springfield Juvenile Court. You cannot help but be impressed by his dedication to each child he served. He had both a passion and talent for his work and had a positive impact on so many lives.

To Cheryl, Seth and Marvin,

I am deeply saddened by your father's passing much as you are.
Al will always be remembered by me with extremely fond memories.

The years at Utica College and the closeness of your family bring back wonderful memories.

I wish everyone well,

Mark P. Berland

I want to express my condolences to Alan's family, friends and colleagues. I was Al's Fraternity Brother at Utica College of Syracuse University where Al devoted so much of his energy helping others and contributing his leadership. His memory will be everlasting.

I went to Utica College and am a fraternity brother of Al's. I wish to express my deepest sorrow and my condolences to his family. Al was one of the founders of our fraternity at Utica College and he will be missed by all of us that considered him a brother.

I was a District Deputy Grand Master when Alan was a DDGM, along with Mark Rosen we sat together at Grand Lodge and had a wonderful time during those two years. Alan lived his Masonry and will be missed. Jim Ray

My condolences to Alan's family. I worked with Alan at Springfield Juvenile Court for many, many years. He was a wonderful, spirited man. You could always count on him to arrive on time (or early !) and be available to conference cases. He truly cared about the children he represented and seemed to particularly enjoy visiting those children he represented on Care and Protection cases. He is already very much missed.

I worked with Alan for 17 years at Juvenile Court. He was my best friend at court and I love and miss him so much. I was lucky to be able to spend Fourth of July with him. I only found out of his passing yesterday when I called to take him out for a drive to see the beautiful summer day. It breaks my heart I did not know of his service until too late. I've never wanted to go to a service before, but it hurts me so much I missed Alan's. He was the only lawyer I knew who I never heard...

To Cheryl, Seth and Marvin - I didn't have the pleasure to meet you; but, I sure did enjoy your father's and brother's company as we were District Deputies togfether in 1999-2001 for the Grand Lodge. We became goods friends and did communicate frequently, but not so in the last few months. Shame on me. May your sorrow be eased by the thoughts of what a wonderful and caring man he was beneath his exterior. That is truly where a person is valued!.
