Not sure what to say?

Al will be missed by all, I am sadden by the loss of a very dear friend. In the time that I've known him we became close like family. we had a lot in common. I consider myself honored and privileged to be able to call him my friend.

To Alan's Family, I know you appreciated his intellect, wit & charm as I did. But did you know when I saw Alan about 7 yrs. ago I told him in high school I thought he was the only literate guy we hung with? We laughed!
It was fun to pretend to be his sister and it would have been fun to have been his sister.
My deepest sympathyto you all.
Kelly (Pat Kelly-White)

Nancy- I was so sorry to hear of Alan's passing. We had our differences but I loved him like a brother- I am in Japan and send my deepest sympathy- love Jerry Weber

dear nancy and family, sorry to here about alan,my thoughts and prayers are with you.from your cousins in hazleton-

Al was a great guy. Funny as heck. Growing up next door to him was a blessing. He was loved by so many people. I'll always remember him and Taylor (Bob) like Mutt and Jeff. They were unseperable. We still would always laugh when we saw one another. And of course the party-line telephone--who could ever forget his meeting Nancy. Thanks Al for many years of fond memories.

In the short time I knew "DOC" he inspired me in so many ways. His ability to understand me and help me through tough times was remarkable.

He was not only a doctor , but a friend. For those people that did not get a chance to meet him you don't know what you missed. He will always be in my thoughts an prayers.

I hope his dreams and goals will be cared on some how some way.

"DOC" I will never forget you.

Dear Nancy, Joshua & Ethan,

Alan touched so many lives in his years of counseling people-- his legacy will live on within the "healthier" lives of people, as a result of his caring work.

I knew Alan for over 25 years and I feel proud to have counted him as my friend! He will be greatly missed by all those whose paths he crossed.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family in this difficult time of loss.

Sincerely,
