My friendship with Alan dates back to our teenage years. I remember good talks, many laughs, and what we thought then were profound discussions. We also also spent much time together with our "steady" girlfriends, Marcia and Estelle, whom we later married. Our friendship continued many years afterwards. Estelle and I are deeply saddened by the loss of Alan and wish to express our heartfelt condolences to Marcia and her family.

Alan was a good friend and very generous person by nature. I have never met a person with a grander view of planning. He certainly was a giant in our profession. Although, I had not been able to visit him lately, it is only because life intervened. I was fortunate to enjoy his company on special occasions! My condolences to Marcia. I will miss you my friend. I hope there is a golf course wherever you are! RIP
