Not sure what to say?

He was outstanding, in every thing he did. Great father, husband and athletic booster.

As a young teacher in the early 80's I will never forget Al welcoming me to the Portage family by inviting me to join the faculty golf league. Al was always a class act and gentleman, and I enjoyed our time on the golf course. Al's contributions to the entire Portage school community will live forever.

Pete so sorry for your loss I will always remember him as "the voice of the HUSKIES "

He was my art teacher in 9th grade. I remember Mr. Kushner as an outstandingly patient and nice guy and we enjoyed learning from him. I was sorry to hear he passed away.

So sorry to hear of Al's passing. Our thoughts and prayers go to his family. He was our neighbor of 15 yrs on Cherrywood. We kept in contact throughout our moves.
He will surely be missed. Now he and my dad can continue to play golf together in heaven

We moved in next door to the Kushners when I was 4, and couldn't have asked for better neighbors. They always shared a warm smile, or a friendly wave, and were incredibly patient with me as I annoyed them regularly with requests to shoot baskets in their driveway. They set a great example for me growing up, which comes to mind every time the kids next door ask me to use our hoop. Rest in peace, old friend, and thank you.

Pete: Sorry to hear of the loss of your dad. He made art fun for so many of us all. Great man. God comfort you at this time.

Mr Kushner, may you and Mrs Kushner Rest In Peace. Peace to your family and friends.

Al was my 9th grade football coach and was a decent, good-hearted man and teacher.
