Dr. Alan F. Lacy

I am saddened by finding this; did not know until today. (February 2023) I met Alan in September 1962, when we both arrived at the University of Virginia to start our first year there. We were both lucky enough to be invited to join the Echols Scholars. (Actually, Alan was not lucky; he was brilliant and Virginia was lucky to get him to go there.)
