Not sure what to say?

Thank you for keeping this page posted! I often rode OFHS bus #38 to school with Al and remember his kind words and calm demeanor. Appreciate that he never forgot my name or face whenever we crossed paths through the years.

Lilly, I am so glad you brought Al to our last high school reunion. We were all so glad to see him. I grew up down the road from him on Lewis Rd, and when I said hi, and asked if he remembered me, he told me my parents' address and told me how many days old I was. We all have memories like that of Al. We also fondly remember the day he stood up for himself to a huge bully in high school, something I guess none of us had dared do over all the years. He was always such a kind guy to everyone....

I went to school with Alan. I met Lily at his service. His family did a wonderful memorial service. He was truly loved. In this world of selfishness, his brother spoke of what was really important to Alan- family. I am honored to have known Alan.

I will remember Alan as a gentle, innocent soul who always showed interest in knowing and socializing with all of us. God bless him.

i feel very sad today as your your family does too. But hang in there live on his wonderful memories I will miss his phone calls Love auntie Elsie

Alan was my buddy throughout high school, and after. He always had a kind word. We would see each other at the Olmsted Drug Mart at least once or twice a month in later years. He never changed. A good person to his core.

I remember Alan from high school. May he rest in peace. He was very kind and sweet.

Rest now Alan, as your amazing soul is in the Kingdom of Peace & Love, forever...

I am so sorry for your loss. I graduated with him and remember him very fondly. He was loved by everyone and will always be thought of in a guiding light.
