Not sure what to say?

To a great lead trumpet player, you and Larry made it the best horn section! Miss you Bro

My favorite horn section picture bro.

Just thinking about you my good friend.

I miss you so much, Alan. I am sitting at the desk that you sat at while reading the Bible that horrible morning. I am so glad though that you went with such peace and even now are with me. I am so sad and miss you so much that it feels like you just died today. I Love You, Sweet Baby Brother. N

Alan and I played trumpet together in high school. He was first chair I was last chair. I dreamed of playing like Alan. He had such a passive personality. I know we could have been great friends had I stayed around long enough to hang with him. We will jam again at the greatest concert, forever. See you soon my friend.

Alan was a friend from high school,we all hung out with the same people. what remember is that he was a gentle man. he will be missed by all of us. I know now that you are in the arms of an Angel.

Alan was a great man and in the short time I knew him, he was always smiling and had a funny story to tell. This will be a great lost for all of those who knew him and my prays are with his family and child.

I am so sorry for Alan's loss. I worked with him in Fresno and have stayed loosely in touch over the years since. I've just learned of his passing. My prayers are with his family and I will always remember him fondly.

He went on to say, "I'm taking the bus from Visalia every morning (an hour ride to...
