Not sure what to say?

alan. my dear father.. You gave me the love of beauty in a place of beauty and you taught me to fight for the ARTS no matter what.. I love you

I believe his greatest legacy can be found in his family, his wife Lotte and his three accomplished, beautiful children Naomi, David and Anina.

62nd wedding anniversary

here is a great website for all to see many many wonderful comments about my dad alan marcus. I would love all to see many many great stories:

Dear Lotte and Family,
We are so saddened to learn at this late date of Alan's passing. What a wonderful man he was! I always loved to run into him at the post office and see the twinkle in his eye as he recounted something he was involved with or thinking about. We are blessed to have known him and the world is a better place for his having lived.
With sincere appreciation and love,
The Eichorn Family

It has been a long time but my ears vividly remember Alan's booming voice chanting "...GLOOM...DOOM..." from his favorite musical, Finian's Rainbow.
Sent with respect and all my love - Marion Finkels Kreith

No matter when or where I ran into Alan he was always informed and opinionated about what was happening in the world. One of a kind, he will be missed. Rabbi Leah Novick

So very sorry to hear of your loss - what a full long and wonderful life lived. Ann

Though Alan was a key figure in my Highlands life I'm ashamed by how little I knew about him. My oldest and best memory is his accompanying our Christmas caroling on the piano--ragtime! Much love to the lucky family who had him for so long.
