Alan Wayne Marshall

I didn't know Alan well, but I'm so impressed at his sharing of the wilderness. He was a giving-to-others man in so many ways. Sally Buffington

Alan and I ran cross country at Crawford. He was a decent, hard working, unassuming individual. We ran into each other just once at SDSC. It comes as no surprise that he chose teaching as his career.

Alan was a longtime volunteer at the San Diego Natural History Museum, active in the Canyoneer program. He will be missed by all.

Alan was a special person who was perfectly placed to teach special students. A man of character, dedication and high morals. He was a great teacher, father, husband and friend. I valued him so much.
