Not sure what to say?

When I think of AD, I think of his smile and healing presence. There were so many times when frustration, humiliation, or hurt would interfere with my ministry and AD would gently guide we back to what was important. How blessed my life has been knowing AD and Glenda!

It has been very difficult to try and summarize the influence that AD has had on our family. For me, he was a mentor, not only in Priesthood but on the Camp Woodland Hills board as well. He was a friend, a person to share a laugh with (and he liked to laugh), and someone you could count on to listen to you if you had a concern. His physical presence will truly be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Glenda, Scott, Shannon and Sharon, as well as all the grandkids.

We have wonderful memories of our time in Bel Nor as your neighbors. We pray that your own lifetime of wonderful memories of a special husband and dad will bring you comfort and peace. John and Carol Mink

Mrs. McClain, Shannon, Sharon and Scott. I was sorry to hear of Mr. McClains passing. You have my deepest sympathy. My prayers are with you and your families.

Glenda,
We are so sorry to hear of AD's passing. You and your family will be in all of our thoughts and prayers.

The Avery School Staff

Glenda and children, my deepest sympathy goes out to you in this time of profound sadness. A.D. was one of the "good guys" one encounters in life. My prayers are with you to help you through this difficult time. A.D. is with his Father in Heaven now and receiving his reward for a life well lived.

Shannon, Sharron, and Scott, We were deeply saddened to learn of your father's sudden death. There are no words to express how utterly helpless we feel being so far away and not being able to wrap our arms around you.

Your father was loved by so many, family, friends, and colleagues, and he will be dearly missed. It's hard to imagine how we must carry on when someone we love so much is taken from us. There is never enough time to prepare us for these difficult moments....

I know it has been a very long time, Shannon, Sharron and Scott--and Mrs. McClain, but your dad and husband was an Awesome individual. He knew how to provide the perfectly balanced example of dicipline and compassion to all who knew him. Dr. McClain was both a wonderful and powerful influence. May God continue to comfort and bless your family. Our condolences for you loss--
