When i was thinking of coming back to whdh, I ran into Al. He said to me "I can get you into any job in the mayor's office" and asked if I wanted him to make a few calls for me. Al was always willing to help a friend out and never left for the day without saying goodbye to every single person working in the edit rooms. I am so sorry to learn of Al's passing. I used to see him in the cafeteria at Channel 7 and he was always very friendly and had a wealth of stories to tell. I very much admired his enthusiasm for his job and his loyalty to the union. RIP, old friend. Job well done.
