I've been very grateful to have experienced the expert diagnosis, two surgeries and care from Dr. Merchant beginning in 1976. I remained a grateful patient during the many subsequent appointments and another surgery in 1997. To this day, I credit Dr. Merchant's skill and recommendations to keep my knees strong. Dr. Merchant rebuilt my left knee back in 19801980-something and I'm still walking around on it today. A great surgeon and a heck of a nice guy. My condolences to his family.
