Not sure what to say?

Still miss you and your insights, scientific and societal.

To Alan's Family: I was a good friend with Alan. We played in CHS Band in the early 1970s, and I was glad to hear about his poems, which I was supposed to voice for him, as part of my voiceover business. May you be comforted in Alan's loss. From Steve Curylo.

I was very sorry to hear of Alan's passing. He was a compassionate, intelligent man with a warm sense of humor. He could always make us laugh when we were growing up, was a good trombonist and a welcome presence at the Stained Glass Coffee House. It cheered our hearts when he sat with us at Jim and Charlene Murphy's wakes. He was a warm, wonderful light to his friends and family, and we will miss him.

Alan was a fun friend during our high school years at CHS. My wife, who also knew Al in high school and I have fond memories of Alan. His wit made you laugh and his intelligence was thought and conversation provoking.

Our thoughts are with his family and of younger days.

I am so sorry to hear about Alan's death. He was one of the best friends anyone could have in our youth growing up in Chicopee. He was always fun and interesting to talk with, I enjoyed our conversations whenever he stopped to talk. He will always be fondly remembered.

Al was such a kind soul. Always very pleasant . and friendly. Everyone commented on his how well he did poetry and how much he enjoyed it. My deepest condolences to his family. He will be greatly missed.

So sad to hear of the passing of Al, I worked with him on the dock for years & he was always so nice & pleasant to me...he always had a smile on his face or scratched his head in wonder when we would talk which was quite often...I enjoyed our talks & was extremely amazed at how intelligent he was in conversation that sometimes I couldnt keep up...I saw him on Wednesday and waved hello to him & he of course smiled & waved back...goodbye my friend, may you rest in peace and to Al's family know...

Good bye old friend, you will be missed at work. 2.2 today my friend, the memories of our talks will never be forgotten. Condolences to family and friends...feel the love al.
