Dear friends,
I appreciate a moment to send our love and prayers to Pat and her lovely daughters and their families. It was wonderful to have Al and Pat's friendship. Adopting him as Uncle, is what I did. His devotion to invest in his family in love, prayer, the scriptures and in physical wellness was a ministry to me and to my family over the years. I met Al about four years ago when I started volunteering at the Information Center downtown. I was overwhelmed at all the information we had to learn about San Diego. Whenever I had a question, I never hesitated to ask Al, he was so kind and helpful and never made me feel embarrased. He was so thoughtful and shared his christian faith with me, he will be truly missed. What a blessing to know he is with Jesus now as I write this, my prayers to the family and Pat.
