NOONAN - Alan. What a life you have had. Thank you for the fun, friendship, fabulous holidays, beer o'clock and for teaching our sons the importance of the English language in the classroom and the finer skills of footy on the field. It was so great to be able to spend a wonderful few hours with you a couple of weeks ago. All our love to Brianna and Alysha.....we will always be here for them. Love always Leanne, Mal, Daniel, Glen and Mark Odgers

i wore your number on my jumper as a kid, i was blown away when i saw you kick 7 against c,wood at windy hill in 1974. a fantastic player, a great bloke , never forgotten,

He was my grade 3/4 teacher in primary school. My favourite teacher of all time.I still remember his warm smile and all of our wonderful memories together. I was devastated when I heard the news. May he rest in peace. My condolences and deepest sympathy goes out to his family and friends. I was truly blessed to have known someone like him. Will always miss you.

NOONAN. - Alan. I've just drunk 2 stubbies; one for me, Unzie, the other for 'Lurch'. The 2 greatest ever teachers at Pascoe Vale South PS. We learnt 'em real good...especially with hangovers.

NOONAN. - Alan. You were a good mate. Many laughs, many beers, many good times. Deepest sympathy to Bev, Fletch and family. - Heags and Chopper.

NOONAN. - Alan (Lurch). My great mate of 40 years who I will sadly miss. A champion on and off the field. Treasured memories of all the good times we shared will stay with me forever. Farewell old mate. Our deepest sympathy to the Noonan family, Brianna, Alysha, Bev and Aaron. - Clarky and Lyn.
