Mrs.Oppenheimer, I forgot to add my name when I posted a message earlier. My family lived behind you in Roosevelt Park. You were great neighbors.Once again you and your family have my deepest sympathy.

My family lived in the house behind Mr. and Mrs.Oppenheimer from 1972 until they moved to Arizona.I remember Mrs. Oppenheimer bringing my mother a cake to our new house in Roosevelt Park when we moved in. They were great neighbors and we hated to see them move.Mrs.Oppenheimer, you and your family have my deepest sympathy.

I have fond memories of Alan and Ruth during my early years with the Muskegon Jewish Community. I'm sure his legacy will live on in many wonderful ways. Thinking of you all and hoping your memories will help you through this time. Best regards,
Pam Wiener

Alan served on the Posse with me (Shery Goodman) and my husband Jim. I remember his devotion to securing Police Badges from everywhere and we contributed at least 10. Alan trained me on Radio Dispatch and we sat together for many hours as I learned how to answer and dispatch calls. We were also TBS members and warmly greeted every time we saw him there. He was a wonderful man and will be truly missed by all who knew him. Sincere condolences to his family.

For many years, Alan and Ruth opened their home to all area police officers working Christmas Eve, for food an fellowship. Their graciousness will always be appreciated. May the Lord comfort you in your time of grief....
