Not sure what to say?

Carlene,
I am so sorry to hear about Alan passing! We didn't hear about it until tonight. You will always have a special place in my memory and heart. Please let us know if there is anything we can do.
Love, Brenda and Keith Pinkerton

I had known Alan since 2000, and he had always had my respect! I thought he conducted operations at MSFC with the best of intentions and he will be sorely missed! I actually haven't talked with him in over 5 years, but a friend told me about his funeral as I reached out to him on the same day of it. My heart goes out to the family of Alan as I know he was a good man and my prayers are with his family.

Carlene, it is with deepest sympathy that Pam and I send this note. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Austin during this uneasy time. We enjoyed meeting Alan at social gatherings and will forever cherish those memories.

I have known Alan since he started at MSFC. He had a great sense of humor and loved Alabama football. He was always a pleasure to work with. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Deepest sympathy to his wife and family. Alan was a wonderful person to work with and will be greatly missed.

I worked with Alan on a number of projects at Marshall Space Flight Center and enjoyed working with him. His leadership will be missed in our Flight Hardware Support.

I really enjoyed working with Alan at NASA. He was a great fellow and I know he will be missed. My prayers are with you all during this most difficult time.
