Not sure what to say?

Life was happy when Alan was around. I loved reading his column in the newspaper and did not know he entered heaven in 2019. All the best to Alan and his family. Reading his column so often, I felt he was a friendly family member. Long live Alan! Hugs from Stacy

Alan: I remember meeting you when you began work for D Magazine. You were a young pup eager to get on with life. A friendly, energetic ball of fire. Every time we ran into each, you would always approach me to talk. You were great at your job and I loved watching you mature as a superior reporter and man. Go with God my friend and know you will be missed.

My dad was a amazing dad, friend, and husband. He was like a best friend to me and after he bumped his head, he still loved me and my family was happy of that hope to happen. I missed him whenever he went away for a trip he had to go for work. We always went to go to Chick-fa-le whenever we had the time. And when my mom was in traffic, he would always pick me up for her. He sometime would take me to work with him. I met a lot of his friend, colleges, and sometimes even his boss. I held on...

Alan was a wonderful man and he made the lives of those around him a joyous occasion. My thoughts go out to the entire family. I enjoyed his conversations, his writing and his integrity.

Alan was an affable and sincere man who was a good listener, and a great chronicler, storyteller, and documentarian of his time. He was an inclusive magnet, with a quick smile, and a wise, humorous smirk; he, and his shared endeavors, will be missed.

Dear Peppard Family, Alan was an all-round nice guy, a brilliant writer, consummate professional, devoted family man, and friend. We often exchanged messages about his articles and he would fill me in on some extra information he had discovered in his research. His obituary was beautifully written and told the story of a good and decent man who never stopped fighting the good fight! May our Heavenly Father ease your grief and leave only the cherished memories of his loving ways. And may the...
