Every time I fish for wild trout, I think of Alan. His beautiful photos and thoughts gave me unmeasurable pleasure! I was not fortunate enough to know him personally, but treasure his memories none the less.

My heartfelt sympathy to Jeanette and the rest of the Petrucci family. I am very lucky to have met Alan years ago and become one of his fishing buddies. He will be sorely missed by his those of us that had the great pleasure of getting to know him. His love of his family, nature and food was always at the surface. He was a very special individual and will forever be in our hearts and minds.

As many have already said, we enjoyed the beauty and wonder of Alan's blog as he graciously included us all on his every adventure - it was a special blessing that will be missed. Our prayers are with the family and those who shared so much with Alan via the blog or on the stream with him. I was particularly blessed to share a couple of outings with Alan, and so I submit these photos for your enjoyment. Mike

My Deepest Sympathy to the Petrucci family. Alan's beautiful blog, Small Stream Reflections was a piece of home for me during my 3 years in Afghanistan and subsequent years in Iraq. He was a true master of life, always positive and uplifting.
