Not sure what to say?

I worked with Alan many moons ago at Carowinds and he and I shared the gift of saracasm that could not compare to others. I truly loved Alan's authentic nature and talent and am truly sorry to hear of his earthly passing. Alan was a blast and his memory will always make me smile.

My deepest sorrow to family and friends of Alan. I worked with him at Carowinds many years ago. So glad to see what an impact he made in the Charlotte community.

Sincerely,
Myra J. Browning Curry

A talent who will be missed both personally and professionally -- in Charlotte and well beyond Charlotte.

Marilyn,
My heart goes out to you. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Know that I am thinking about you at this difficult time. If you need anything please don't hesitate to ask.

Alan was a very big part of my childhood, growing up in Lucia. He was a sweet boy and I wish I could have stayed in touch over the years, because it sounds as if he grew into a wonderful man.

I had the pleasure of working with Alan many years ago at the Park Terrace Theatre. I have fondly remembered his wit and humor over the years. He will be missed!

I was blessed by a close friendship with Alan when we were young teenagers many years ago in Lucia, NC. I am grateful that from time to time as adults we would see each other in Charlotte. He would always be so kind and share his great big smile. I will never forget Alan and he will always have a special place in my heart.
