Alan Raines

I found out about my friend Alan's passing terribly late. I wish I had been able to attend. I worked with Alan in Patient Transport at Butterworth hospital, from 2012 until his retirement. It's been 13 years in health care and I still think of him every time I walk into a patient's room. Alan was the guy you wanted to bring along if you had a difficult patient. Alan I so remember the good days at International Aid. You were such a hard worker there serving the Lord. I know you are in heaven now serving our Father God. Oh, what a joyful reunion with your wife, family and friends. RIP dear friend. My heart goes out to your family. Sending prayers to them for peace and comfort.

I was just told of Alan´s graduation to heaven from his brother Dennis. I am thankful to Alan for his faithfulness as a pastor. On May 21, 1978, while attending the morning service at Rushford Baptist Church in Rushford, NY, I received Christ as my Saviour. By God´s grace I am still serving the God that saved me and have been pastoring for many years. Thank you Pastor Raines!

RIP Alan. The work you did at International Aid impacted thousands worldwide. You were a blessing to everyone you crossed paths with. May your family find comfort knowing you will live again with the Lord.
