I had the pleasure of meeting Alan during his time at One Commerce Center in Wilmington, where our offices were on the same floor. In all his dealings, Alan was unfailingly intelligent, gracious, and friendly - a true gentleman .... one of the good guys. He made the world better and will be missed. Condolences to the family.
