Not sure what to say?

Through the municipal bond business, I knew Al for many years and had the great fortune to work with him toward the end of his career. I will always remember and appreciate his advocacy for fair and equal treatment in the workplace. Outside of work, in response to an opera question I had for him, Al propelled my interest with the delivery of a Puccini CD the very next day.
My sympathies to Sally and the family.

Dear Robertson family I'm so sorry for your loss I send my deepest condolences. May the comfort of God and the fond memories you cherish comfort and sustain you in your time of need.

AL and I worked together while at Blyth & Co. in the early 1970's; he in Seattle and myself in Los Angeles. I recall Al as a kind individual and a consummate professional. I attended the Seattle Bond Club outings @ Rosario, in large part, due to AL's urging. Thank you Al for adding immensely to the quality of the journey!
Very Best Wishes to AL's family and all of those fortunate enough to have known Al Robertson, a true Gentleman.

I didn't really know Alan, but am deeply impressed by his full life. SAlly, I think the world of you and can only tell you that I am so sorry that you have lost your dear friend and that I wish all blessings for you and your family. With love from Marylyn Vincent

A true renaissance man, whose interests spanned the world of sports to the nuances of 19th century Italian opera. But Al was more than that, he was a guy you looked forward to spending time with, whether at a Husky football game, or discussing the vagaries of a municipal bond indenture .

While our paths diverged over the last decade, i will always remember Al with a...

More importantly we will miss his friendship and support. He was indeed a true friend.
