Alan entertained graciously. Time spent with him was grand whether it was walking around junkyards in Upstate NY or Manhattan. I can easily imagine discussions about The Afterlife at Your Feet / Wings. An option for traditional, purgatory for those so inclined and even venues for eastern religions. I know the right spirit to make it happen. Thanks for the memories and fly fishing.

Doug and I will miss Alan's quirky personality, stories of life and Art, his interesting friends who visited, our Salmon dinners at camp and,his quiet private moments. We didn't have a chance to tell him goodbye. Cheri Hawley and Doug Hurlbut

Alan was a beautiful person and a fantastic artist! We went to Milford HS together. He loved the Beatles;I remember going to Baltimore with Alan and his girlfriend Nancy in the 60's to buy British rock magazines! He's up there now with John Lennon and George Harrison. Rock on, Alan! "Beatle Barb"
