Not sure what to say?

Mark - I just read about Albert and I am so, so sorry. He meant the world to me and we had a really special friendship for those 8 years. I loved his quirks, how he had to have everything just so, how he used to fall asleep in his chair, he hated ice box turkey.. and how about the time he tried to spring himself from the hospital. You two were the best buds and you mean the world to him.

Love and prayers to you and your family. Love, Hobbs

Mark - I was very sorry to hear about your dad. When I first got in the auto industry I worked closely with Al. He taught me a lot and was a lot of fun to work with. What a great person. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Al & Mark, going to miss those Thursday noon chats, with Al, about the latest "cream puff" he aquired. He was always had time to share in his excitement.

Al & Mark had a relationship that not many share. Both father & son, so proud of one another, working together as a team.

Al, you will be missed by many...

The reunion committee of West High, class of 1949 wish to extend our condolences to Alan's family and friends.

Alan contributed great support, ideas and a wonderful sense of humor to our groups efforts. We shall miss him.

So Sorry for your loss. I loved your DAD. I always asked your Dad what the car was worth 5 minutes before the accident and he always gave an honest answer. He was the BEST!!!

Mark - My deepest sympathies to you in the loss of your father. I work at Minneapolis Auto Auction and have enjoyed seeing and talking to your dad. Any time your dad came in Judy or I would get a pair of scissors out without him even asking because we knew how he liked to cut his bidder badge to fit on the brim of his cap. I always made sure to yell "Hi Al" if I wasn't the one helping him at the time. I recall a time when you were at the counter, got your badge and left, and he said "that...

Al'
You were one of my idols in the car business. The best to you in the afterlife.

Al was a regular partner for breakast at the Lincoln Del for many years, and he often returned for dinner with his son. He was always a welcome patron with a kind word and a good story. Many of the "old crowd" will miss him greatly.

The employees of the Minneapolis Auto Auction will deeply miss Alan's warm smile and wisdom...
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
