Alan Kent Schlytter

SCHLYTTER, Alan Kent – Of Goodrich, age 80, died Sunday, July 3, 2022 at The Pines of Goodrich.

Cremation has taken place and private family service will be held.

Alan was born in Wisconsin on October 13, 1941, the son of the late Kenneth and Helen (Cassens) Schlytter.

On December 1, 1979 he married Janice Rozsypal.

He was employed by GM for 37 years, retiring in 1998.

Mr. Schlytter was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church and was an Elder of the church.

He was a member of WFLA and Atlas Valley Golf Course.

Surviving are wife, Janice;

sons, Jamelle Schlytter of Fenton, Eric and wife Janet Schlytter of University Place, Washington;

daughter, Heather and husband Mark McKellar of Fenton;

former wife, Carol Alder of Fenton;

grandchildren, Garrett, Ashton, Keegan and Skylar McKellar;

sister, Lynn and husband Keith Hanson of Wisconsin.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
