Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear of Dr Scott´s passing. I will fondly remember my many trips with him to Oak Ridge and Indiana University collecting data for his research and my Master´s thesis. I learned so much more than physics on those trips. I will be forever grateful for the 4 years I spent with him at UGA and the guidance I received. A part of him lives on in me and hopefully in people I have influenced in my life.

My Employer, Supervisor, Professor and Friend - who produced the best work environment that I have ever worked in to this date (12/26/2017)!! I always enjoyed those long and historical journeys in conversation,of which,he only spoke (BIG SMILE)-bUT VERY EDUCATIONAL!! REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND!! I say farewell also to his lovely wife EVA who always welcomed me into their home - THANK-YOU BOTH!! My Sincerest!!

Most cordial condolences to Fiona and Anita on hearing of the passing of your father. He was a great friend and an enthusiastic fan of The Music.

Just heard of Alan and Eva's sad demise. Both Alan and I were students at Acton County School, London, England. Alan was top of the class in Physics and German as well as being a top all round sportsman. He won a place at University College London to read Physics which led to his Ph.D and a life long interest and expertise in nuclear Physics.
I enjoyed meeting Alan and Eva from time to time in England and Georgia. I will really miss Alan's very long Christmas phone calls, his humor, and...

Dear Fiona,
My condolences on hearing of the passing of both your mother and father in 2016. So many happy memories of get-togethers, parties, lunches and dinners on Ponderosa Drive! All the furniture would be moved in the den for the festivities and dancing, of which your lovely mom would take an active role, right there with us teenagers, almost 20, you know... Your mother and father were always engaging and fun. Often times Dr. Alan might drift into "some mathematical formula trance"...

Dr. Scott was a big part of my life growing up in Athens. He was such a wonderful friend to my parents and to me. RIP, Dr. Scott and hope Dad is greeting you with bagpipes!

This was a very good man with a great sense of fairness and honor. He taught me much about the game of soccer as he "ref"ed several of my games. My thoughts a prayers are with his wonderful family during this time of loss. Thank you Dr. Scott.
