Alan P. Shafer

We knew Alan in the Army, having served in the same unit. He was a very good man, respected and admired by everyone without exception. The world is a better place because of his life, especially for those of us who intersected with him along life's path. Losing him is a loss that can't be replaced this side of eternity.
